Amazon Fire TV is adding new ad options as more people use connected TV.
The new ad choices will roll out now through 2023. They will let more kinds of ads play on Fire TV. Some examples are:
Letting advertisers buy exclusive ad space on Fire TV channels and devices.
Letting more brands show ads on the home screen when you turn on Fire TV.
Letting brands combine Fire TV ads with ads on streaming TV.
Adding sponsored search results when you look for shows to watch.
Letting advertisers pick genres or use AI to target ads.

Many of the updates help advertisers target you at the right time on Fire TV. Like when you search for a show, sponsored results could pop up.
These changes come as Fire TV grows. More people are using free channels on Fire TV. And the number of customers has grown a lot this year.
Amazon also makes more money on ads. Last year they made $12 billion, up 26%.
So Amazon wants to take advantage of the growth in connected TV ads. Experts predict these ads will grow a lot this year as people stream more TV online.
The goal is to make Fire TV a top place for advertisers to reach streaming audiences. The new options give brands more ways to target viewers with their ads.
Warmly,
Dr. Wright
