You have to shoot it somewhere, right?
You have the flexibility to kick off your show, whether it's at home, in a studio, an office, or virtually any location that suits your needs. However, it's crucial to prioritize sound control and minimize disruptions from nearby traffic, including pedestrians, cars, and airplanes. Allow me to share a personal experience that highlights the significance of this aspect. During the production of a movie I directed starring Brian Tracy, we encountered unexpected challenges due to scheduled plane flyovers occurring every hour at 15 past the hour. Regrettably, we had not noticed this during our initial location scouting, which proved to be a rookie mistake. Consequently, we had to pause filming every hour until 7 pm to accommodate the noise. This experience emphasized the importance of thoroughly assessing potential shooting sites to avoid such issues in the future.
Moral of the story? Use all your senses. Start creating and correct along the way. There is no right answer. Do what works for you.
